Before and After School Care
Cancellations for Before or After School Care received prior to 6pm the night before will result in no charge applying for the session nominated. Cancellations received after this time will result in the full charge
applying, except in the instances described below.
Late cancellation will incur the full charge of the session unless a medical certificate is provided to the service within 7 days of the absence. If the service has been advised that a child has gone home from school with
illness, fees will be waived for the child and for any siblings of the child.
Vacation Care
Cancellations for Vacation Care or Pupil Free Days received by Sunday 6pm at the beginning of the Week will incur the $10 deposit fee only. Cancellations received after this time result in the full charge applying,
except in the instance described below. Late cancellations will be charged the deposit fee only where families provide the service with a medical
certificate within 7 days of the absence.
Vacation Care Consent
By booking in for this date, I give permission for my child/ren to participate and travel by Chartered Bus in all programmed activities and excursions as detailed on the applicable vacation care program. I understand it is my responsibility to familiarise myself with the program and details each vacation care period and to advise the Director if I do not wish for my child/ren to participate in a particular activity. Risk assessments are undertaken for all excursions and incursions and may be viewed upon request.
Other
The Director will use their discretion to waive fees based on individual circumstances.
First Aid
- OSHC staff will be required to administer simple first aid across the service.
- OSHCS staff will access medical, hospital and ambulance services to attend to children as deemeded necessary by staff and families will be liable or any costs involved in the treatment of children.
- Children who require medication whilst at the service must have a signed agreement from a medical practitioner.
- In case of ACCIDENT OR EMERGENCY, every effort will be made to contact parents prior to taking medical action or seeking treatment. In the event of your child/ren requiring urgent medical treatment, OSHC staff will obtain medical assistance deemed necessary and you will be liable for any medical costs incurred.
Sunscreen
The service will provided sunscreen to children as per our Sun Protection Policy and will provide both Coles SPF 50+ and Bananna Boat 50+ sunscreen.
Fee Payment
- The service closes at 6:00pm and a late fee will be applied for children who are collected after this time.
- Families must check Fully Booked regularly to access statement and ensure account is up to date.
- Fees outstanding by 28 days will be regarded as a debt to the centre and care will be refused. Furthermore, the service will access a debt collection agency to recover outstanding debts to the service.
